Booking process

Initiating your booking. To begin your tattoo journey with Inkwise Tattoo Studio, complete our booking form. It gathers essential details about your idea: design concept, size, placement, and reference images. The more information you provide, the better we can understand and plan your vision.

Approval and scheduling. Once we receive your form, our studio manager reviews your request to ensure it aligns with our expertise and standards. If your concept is approved, we contact you by email within the next working day to confirm details and guide scheduling. This email includes instructions for paying a deposit, which secures your slot and contributes to the final cost.

Preparing for your session. After your appointment is confirmed and the deposit is paid, simply wait for your session day. Reach out any time with questions or extra details.

Design and tattoo sessions. The number of sessions shown on our site is an estimate. Final requirements may vary with the complexity of the design, placement, and client needs; more detailed or extensive designs may require additional design or tattoo sessions.

Design session. Every complex project begins with a dedicated design session (5 000 SEK), including complex pieces completed in a single full day session. Each design session has a set length. If the design requires an additional design day, that day is charged at the same price. The same charge applies to design changes requested after the design has been approved, or on the day of the tattoo session. On the day of the tattoo session the approved design is printed, aligned with your anatomy, and then stencilled before tattooing begins.

Design ownership. Every design we create remains the property of the artist. We do not offer design work without tattooing. If you decide not to proceed with the tattoo, the deposit is not refunded, and the design cannot be transferred, released, or used elsewhere.

Age and ID

Minors. There is no statutory minimum tattoo age in Sweden, but we follow the recommendation that under-18s are tattooed only with a legal guardian present and consenting. Valid ID is required for both the client and the guardian.

Right of withdrawal (ångerrätt)

Because bookings are made online (a distance contract), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (lag 2005:59). The 14 days run from the day the booking is made. To withdraw, email manager@inkwisestudio.com within that period. If you expressly ask us to begin the service within the 14 days and agree that the right ends once the service is completed, no withdrawal right applies to the completed service; if work has started but isn't finished, you pay a proportionate amount for what was done. After the 14-day period, the booking is governed by the cancellation policy below.

Payment

At the end of your session we finalise payment, deducting your deposit from the total. Several payment methods are available. We do not accept cash.

Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory rights as a consumer under the Swedish Consumer Services Act (konsumenttjänstlagen, 1985:716).

During & after the session

Arrive on time for a relaxed experience. Before tattooing, we review your design and placement for final adjustments. We maintain high cleanliness standards with sterilised equipment and new needles. Afterwards you'll receive detailed aftercare instructions, and we're available for follow-up questions.

Privacy policy

We respect your privacy and protect your personal data.
